Busan I'Park, Can they enjoy a renaissance?

Recently many Korean say "Leeds heyday". It means glory days. It derives from English football club Leeds United. Leeds enjoyed a golden age from later 1990s to 2001. This period, Leeds was situated at high rank of English Premier League and went on to the semifinals of UEFA Champoins League in 2000-01 season. But after 2000-01 season, they have been past their prime.

Here is K-League club like Leeds United. the team is Busan I'Park. They have taken part in K-League since 1983. In 1983, (K-League started first season) And they won K-League championship four times(1984, 1987, 1991,1997) with super star Kim Ju-sung, Ha Seok-joo. Especially 1997 season they achieved treble.(K-League, Adidas cup, Hanabank FA Cup)

This period, I'Park was most popular team of K-League. Average 28000 spectator were present at the Guduk stadium(Guduk stadium was home field of I'Park to 2001 season). It's great show that allows for Busan has most popular profassional sports team Lotte Giants.

But in Korean financial crisis, their parent company Daewoo collapsed. after Daewoo collapsed I'Park was accepted Hyundai Development Company in 1999.  After Hyundai Development Company accepted I'Park, super star players move I'Park and they were a sharp downturn. So I Park has been low rank.

Why has I'Park been low rank?

All these days, I'Park has no super star. Because they foster star player to their youyh system. In contrest, most of top ranked club use their youth system for they persistingly foster young star player. And many fans come to their home field for they see new star player. Doing so they can make good rank persistingly.

If so, How can I'Park enjoy a renaissance?

As soon as finished last season. Ahn Ik-soo was appointed new manager of I'Park. He said" Our goal is that makesgood rank. For we make good rank, we stabilize defence line." because defense line of  I'Park is their weak point. If their defense line stabilized, their winning rate raices, and many fans come to their home field.

If I'Park enjoy a renaissance, I'Park foster star player and they make that many fans are present at their home field.

Most of K-League fans want that Buasn I'Park enjoys a renaissance. If I'Park enjoys a renaissance, Korean football system will Upgrade one step.

Wenger's kindergarten , Arsenal has no leader.

Since when won the FA Cup Final of  2004-05 season, Arsenal hasn't won champion. Arsenal prepared this season for the champion, but recently has been far from champion because the team didn't overcome a crisis.

Of course Arsenal ranks no.2 to Premier League table. The team falls behind 3 point comparing with one game more than league ranking no.1 United. But looking for the remaining schedule - except for vs. Manchester United game - Arsenal's remaining games are a more difficult than Manchester United.

During last 6 season, Arsenal's manager Arsene Wenger has been operating the team centrically early 20s players for reform the team. We recognize his leadship that has been keeping high rank of Premier League although he has been operating the team centrically young players. But bacause he has been operating the team centrically young players, Arsenal can't go through a crisis.

Arsenal has no leader who controls game and has many experiences. Wenger is a good manager but just the game plays the player in the football or other sports. So, especially team sport needs a leader who controls the game in the ground.

As compared with Manchester United, Man Utd. has leaders who was captain of national team. They are Evra, Vidic, Ji-sung Park, Fredinand and legend Giggs. So, Man Utd. can change ambience. Man Utd. won the FA Cup quarter final vs. Arsenal although the team lost 2 games in the last week that vs. Chelsea and Liverpool.

But because Arsenal has no leader, Arsenal can't change ambience. 2008-09 UEFA Champions League semi final game2 vs. Manchester United is a typical example. Arsenal wanted to go in to the final, Arsenal had to win the game over 2 goal gab, because the team lost 0-1 the game1. But 8 minutes after kick off Arsenal gave first goal to Ji-sung Park. After given the first goal, Arsenal's ambience was down. As a result Arsenal lost th game by 1-3 and didn't go in to the final.

North London derby, vs. Tottenham, also as same as 2008-09 UEFA Champions League semi final game2. In the first half, Arsenal led 2-0. But after gave goal to Bale, Arsenal broke team ambience and gave two goals. So Arsenal lost game by reverse.

Arsenal won the last champion of the Premier League in the 2003-04 season. To this season Arsenal has some leaders who controls game and has many experiences like Bergkamp and Seaman. So Arsenal can win the trophy. But after they retained, Arsenal has never won the trophy.

Because of this reason Arsenal must need leader who controls game, have many experiences and can go through the crisis. Wenger must know importence of leader of ground.
